Custom websites for small businesses

make the good work obvious

We are a small web studio. We specialise in making websites that match the quality of the business behind them.

Most projects land between £500 and £1,000, and go live in under a week. We read every enquiry ourselves and reply, usually within one working day.

01 / who it is for

For businesses people look up before they ring.

A customer has already found your business. Your website's job is to establish that you're better than the competition.

ClinicsSports therapy, physiotherapy and dental. Someone in pain wants two answers fast: can you treat their problem, and how soon can they get seen?
Trainers and teachersPersonal trainers, gyms, a drum school, piano tuition. People are choosing a person, not a service — they weigh you up before they ever enquire.
The high streetHair and beauty salons, a dry cleaners, a handyman, man-and-van, restaurants, a bowling club. Most customers find you on their phone, mid-errand, and decide in seconds whether to call.
Not on that list?Say what you do anyway. It comes down to the same thing: can a stranger tell what you do and how to book you, at a glance.

02 / what changes on a page

The same information, easier to act on.

The offer said in plain language, the detail put in the order a customer reads it, and one obvious way to get in touch instead of a phone number sitting near the bottom.

FORM / a drawing, not a clientBefore, left — after, right
Before: an illustrative studio website with clashing colours, a wall of text, a timetable table, and the phone number hidden near the bottom. Before
After: the same illustrative studio rebuilt with a bold headline, one booking button, and the classes laid out in plain language. After
FORM is not a real business. It is drawn to show what moves on a page, and it is labelled as a drawing rather than dressed up as somebody's shopfront.

03 / what it costs

Professional work. Below-market prices.

Most websites we build cost between £500 and £1,000 — deliberately below typical agency prices.

That is a guide rather than a fixed quote, because every business needs something different. A website for a personal trainer is not the same job as one for a dental practice.

Your price is based on the number of pages, how much content needs to be written, and the features the website needs. We will then give you one clear price, confirmed in writing, before any work begins.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

Explain what your business does, what your current website is failing to communicate, and what you want visitors to do. It does not need to be polished — a rough brief is much easier for us to refine than a blank page.

  2. 02

    We review it personally

You will usually hear back within one working day, directly from the people who would build your website. We will tell you whether the project looks like a good fit and, where it does, arrange a twenty-minute call.

  3. 03

    We talk through the details

The call gives us enough time to understand the pages you need, the content that must be written, and the features the website needs to include. That means we can price the actual job rather than give you a vague estimate.

  4. 04

    You receive a written price

We send you a clear scope showing what we will build, what is included, and the total price. Nothing starts until you have read it and decided that you are happy to proceed.

For the first thirty days after launch, any issues are covered.

04 / the proof is this page

Do not just take our word for it.

The page you are reading demonstrates how we build: fast, private and dependable, even on older devices and poor connections.

Everything below is something you can test for yourself.

  1. 01

It loads quickly, even on a weak connection

This page does not depend on third-party services to load its essential content. Even the fonts are served directly from the site, so visitors are not left waiting for another company’s server before they can see what you offer.

  2. 02

There is no cookie banner to dismiss

This page does not track its visitors or collect advertising data. That means there is no consent box standing between a potential customer and the information they came to find.

  3. 03

It still works on an older phone

The important parts of the page — the words, links and contact details — work without relying on complex scripts. A slow handset, restricted work browser or unreliable connection can still get a customer to you.

These are not promises hidden in a sales presentation. Open this page on the oldest phone you have, turn down the connection and see what still arrives.

05 / next

Tell us what the website needs to do.

Tell us what your business does, what your current website is failing to make clear, and what you want a visitor to do next.

It does not need to be polished. A rough brief is often more useful than carefully written marketing copy.
